From the opulent parlors to the original kitchen with adjacent 48,000-gallon wine cellar. Step back in time and tour this extraordinary mansion.
The Vaile Mansion sits on a park-like setting that’s especially pretty during the spring season. The warm red brick exterior stands out surrounded by deep green leaves of mature trees and lush gardens. The three-story mansion features 112-foot tall windows capped with brilliant white limestone. Victorian elements soften and contrast the bold brick and stone, giving the home a beautifully balanced aesthetic.
Stepping into the main entrance guests first see the exceptional craftsmanship with the impressive black walnut staircase. The hand-carved mantle with Cararra marble and onyx details, in the main parlor, is also an example of the detailed artistry in the house. In fact, the magnificent Gothic mansion’s 31 perfectly preserved rooms hold nine marble fireplaces. Each space is a work of art from exquisitely painted ceilings to the delicate antique vases.
